DropShades: Sound Reactive Technology

Check out this pair of groovy glasses called Dropshades.  It’s not exactly Google Glass, but it’s sure to make heads turn in the night club.

According to the developers:

DropShades are the world’s first audio responsive party glasses that “dance” to the beat of the music. Using a tiny microphone connected to a signal processor, incoming sound is translated across six horizontal bars that cascade an array of lights up and down according to the beat of the music. The effect is an audio responsive light show for everyone to enjoy. DropShades can be worn in a variety of different environments including large music festivals, concerts, raves, clubs, dances, parties, and much more!

The company is currently running a campaign on Kickstarter and is looking for your financial support to bring this cool accessory to the masses.
