Is this a Fake Outer-Casing Photo of the Budget iPhone?

Here is another purported photo of Apple’s yet to be announced, budget iPhone. The image was posted on  MacX, a Chinese Tech Blog.

Plastic casing shows a decent size camera opening on the back with flash. You can also see the volume and mute button on the side. According to the report, the authenticity of the photo cannot be confirmed.

Earlier this year, an iLounge  report suggest that, “the budget iPhone will look a lot like an iPhone 5 from the front, an iPod classic from the side, and an iPod touch 5G on the bottom—only made from plastic rather than glass or metal.”

I’m extremely skeptical about this one. What about you?
