iPhone 5S Name Revealed on KDDI Official Website
According to a new report from TechKiddy, the website of Japanese mobile service operator –KDDI, has unwittingly revealed the name of the next-generation iPhone. The report pointed to HTML code of a page on the company’s official website which has the name iPhone 5S embedded.
If true, this will be the third iPhone to carry the moniker “S” at the end. With the iPhone 3GS – “S” stands for Speed, iPhone 4S – “S” means Siri and in the rumored iPhone 5S, the “S” would likely mean “Scan”, since Apple is expected to put a fingerprint sensor in the Home button of the iPhone 5S.
The iPhone 5S is rumored to sport a A7 chip,Fingerprint sensor beyond Home Button, duel-LED flash and come in four colors: Black,white,Graphite and Champagne.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C at a special event on September 10. The devices will then launch on September 20.
