iPAD LEAK: Alleged Images of A8X Chip And Touch ID Button of iPad Air 2 Surface

9 to 5 Mac (via apple.club.tw) has published alleged photos of parts belonging to the next generation iPad Air. The photos show a full logic board of the iPad Air 2, the new Home button cutout with what looks like the Touch ID ring component, glass screen cover and audio control components.

As pointed out by 9to5 mac, the image of the logic board is not distinguishable from that of previous generations at first glance, but on closer inspection an A8X system-on-a-chip logo is visible.

Apple is widely expected unveil the next generation iPad Air and iPad mini at a special event on October 16.
