The Monkey Light Pro comes to you from the folks at Monkeylectric, a Northern California company, which delivering the next generation LEDs lighting for your bike.

According to the company’s website:

The Monkey Light Pro allows you to display stunning semi-transparent images and animations within a bicycle wheel. The display fills the bicycle wheel at speeds above 10mph (15 km/h). The images and animations are stabilized and visible from both sides of the wheel. The Monkey Light Pro is waterproof and durable, and is designed for use on city streets. Crank your bike up to eleven.

Download images and animations to your Monkey Light Pro and display them while you ride. With our web-based software you can create your own playlist or choose from our collection of custom artwork. Over 10 artists have contributed work designed specifically for the Monkey Light Pro.

Get your message out or just have fun – the Monkey Light Pro is a unique product for unique people. For application developers our software and control API is available with an open-source license.

The Monkey Light Pro is available now, only on Kickstarter. Earlier prototypes of the Monkey Light Pro were custom made for exhibits and developers only – you may have seen one at Maker Faire, Siggraph, Dragon’s Den, EuroBike, SXSW or at a museum.
