According to a new report from Chines tech blog- cnBeta (Weibo users @ C Technology) the low-cost iPhone is expected to be thicker than the current iPhone 5.
Key highlights from the report include:
- The low-cost iPhone will come with the same iPhone 5 with 4-inch in-cell screen .
- Volume production work will start this month.
- The low-cost iPhone will be 8.97 mm thick compared to the 7.6mm of the iPhone 5.
- It will have a plastic material body, and Apple will provide similar with the iPod touch 5 colorful color scheme .
This new report supports previous rumors relating to the low-cost iPhone, which is expected to be release later this year.
