There have been lots of leaks and rumors that Apple’s fifth-generation 9.7-inch iPad will be similar in design to the iPad mini.
Today, we have a purported photo of the black iPad 5 alongside an iPad mini. This photo comes on the heel of a leaked video of Apple’s next-generation 9.7-inch iPad by Macotakara.
The fifth-generation 9.7-inch iPad is widely expected to sport an aluminum body shell, thinner side bezels and lighter than the fourth-generation iPad. The recent video by Macotakara also suggests that the fifth-generation iPad will have a translucent Apple logo on the rear panel. This opens the possibility for the fifth-generation iPad having an illuminated logo as seen in Apple’s MacBook PCs.
The fifth-generation iPad and other products are expected to be unveiled next month by Apple.
