HTC Unveils The New HTC One

HTC unveiled their new Flagship smartphone, HTC one, today. At first glance the new HTC One appears to be a beautiful. The device sports and all new design with a 4.7-inch Full HD 1080p display. This comes with an eye-popping  468 PPI resolution. It has 2 GB DDR2 memory on board and a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 600, quad-core, 1.7GHz to power the beast. The smartphone measures 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3mm and weighs 143g.

HTC Zoe™: Your photo gallery brought to life.

Capturing a moment takes more than one image. That’s why the new HTC One includes the HTC UltraPixel Camera. Press the shutter and the HTC One automatically captures up to 20 photos and a 3-second video—a picture that’s alive. So your entire photo album becomes a living, breathing gallery.

HTC BoomSound™: Sharper, richer, louder.

On the average smartphone, sharing music or a video with friends is a frustrating experience. A tiny speaker will tame even the most ferocious track. But the new HTC One’s BoomSound™ changes all that. Dual frontal stereo speakers powered by built-in amplifiers deliver bigger sound with less distortion and more detail.

HTC BlinkFeed™. Your live home screen.

With HTC BlinkFeed™, simply pick the social networks, news and feeds you want to stay updated on and they’ll all stream live to your home screen. The pulse of your world is in the palm of your hand.

Here are a few early Hand-ons with HTC new flagship smartphone:

Wired UK:
Wired.co.uk went hands-on at HTC’s event and the phone impressed. Its massive screen hasn’t made the phone bulky. Its aluminium enclosure is smooth, lightweight and felt rugged. Also, the enormously tight pixel density on the phone’s screen produced image quality that outstrips the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 — it really is that good. Photos look beautiful and text is as sharp as we’ve ever seen.
Engadget:
In the end, we walked away tremendously impressed with what the HTC One has to offer, especially in terms of hardware. Be sure to take a look at our software and camera posts (spoiler: Sense 5 runs on top of Android 4.1.2). With this phone, HTC’s crafted something truly special — it’s now critical that the company follow through with strong marketing and prevent the carriers from fragmenting its vision. Will this be the one? We sure hope so.
Gizmodo:
…What matters now is thoughtfulness and execution, and at a glance, HTC’s One is right on the money.

To start, the aluminum body is damn beautiful. It’s got a curve to its back piece, but its edges have more of a hard line to them than the One X+ and One X.
