It’s no secret Apple has been struggling to shift their iPhone 5c smartphones, even Tim Cook admitted as much at the company’s last earnings conference call:
“I think the 5S, people are really intrigued with Touch ID. It’s a major feature that has excited people. And I think that, associated with the other things that are unique to the 5S, got the 5S to have a significant amount more attention and a higher mix of sales.”
Apple is about to change this according to a new report from Engadget. The Cupertino-based company will reportedly launch an 8GB version that’ll retail for 60 euros less than the current 16GB model. This information came courtesy of a leaked documents from O2 Germany.
It will be interesting to see if the gives the iPhone 5c the much needed boost in sales.
