With Apple’s recently announced event under a week away, more purports photos of the iPad mini’s parts has surfaced online. ETrade Supply has posted several images of purported parts of the iPad mini.
The parts in question are a 8-inch LCD screen and 4490mAh battery. The display is said to be of the same 4:3 aspect ratio of the full-size iPad and measures 162 mm x 124 mm. The report also stated that, “the text on the back of the display suggests that the part was manufactured by LG Display, and text on the ribbon cable extending from the display is also consistent with labeling on genuine Apple parts.”
The ETrade Supply’s battery has an APN of 616-0627, while the battery in photo posted MacRumors carried an APN of 616-0641.
Apple’s iPad Mini is to be unveil on October 23 at an event in California Theatre in San Jose.
