iPhone 6 8A Chip To Feature Quad-Core 64-bit Processor and Quad-Core Graphics

The latest rumor from Asia suggests Apple next generation iPhone will feature a their latest A 8 Chip. The news came courtesy of Chinese tech website –  Laoyaoba.com.

According the report, the A8 Chip will be produce using the latest TSMC 20nm process and is expected to carry a quad-core 64-bit processor and quad-core graphics processor core. Additionally, it’s suggested that the display will be greater than 4.7-inch, may feature a sapphire-crystal display and come with a higher resolution than the current iPhone 5/5s which has a 1136-by-640 resolution and 326 ppi.

In other news, a prominent member of Weibo mircoblogging social network – Old Yao, has reported that reliable sources from the supply chain, have indicated that parts for the iPhone 6 will begin shipping in July. This will suggest a launch date of Septmeber/October 2014.
