Today we are featuring this amazing iOS 7 concept By Alexey Masalov. Masalov concept maintains the flat and minimalist design currently used by Jony Ive in iOS 7. However, his work appears slightly darker and less vibrant than Ive’s.

OS 7 Redesign is a creative concept I recently discovered in my mind and make it happen.
So I want to present you a new possible look and feel of the upcoming Apple’s new mobile operating system – iOS 7. I completely recreated the overall look including brand new icon styles. Also some basic apps were completely redesigned from scratch to showcase this new direction in use.
While working on this concept I constantly keep two things in my mind – simplicity and consistency. I believe this two are the great pair when creating a solid mobile experience. So I get a some kind of minimalistic approach with strong accents on content, grids, colors and clever use of whitespace and imagery, which was fully supported with sleek and elegant typography and well balanced iconic navigation.
I would like to add that I really respect the work made by Jonathan Ive and his team. Generally I like the new lightweight direction Apple’s showing to us. This project is just only my concept and my try to bring something new.
