The Storage Size of Retina Display iPad Will Increase To 128GB

Today, Apple has announced that the storage size of the retina display iPad will increase to 128GB. This will be the fourth generation iPad with Retina display and the models that will get the update include – iPad with Wi-Fi and iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular.

“With more than 120 million iPads sold, it’s clear that customers around the world love their iPads, and every day they are finding more great reasons to work, learn and play on their iPads rather than their old PCs,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “With twice the storage capacity and an unparalleled selection of over 300,000 native iPad apps, enterprises, educators and artists have even more reasons to use iPad for all their business and personal needs.”

According to the press release, “the new 128GB versions of the fourth generation iPad will be available starting Tuesday, February 5, in black or white, for a suggested retail price of $799 (US) for the iPad with Wi-Fi model and $929 (US) for the iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular model.”
